A jaguar is a mammal. A mammal is a group of
animals that give birth to live babies, they feed
milk to babies and have fur . Jaguars mostly
feed on
deer, peccary, crocodiles, monkeys, snakes, and
other animals. Flower like shapes
on its back to help it camoflage.
3. Habitat
Jaguars live in a variety of places. In the plains,
the yellow grass hides the jaguars from
predators, and prey to pounce. In the forest

4. Why are they endangered?
Jaguars are endangered because people are cutting
down trees which is their “master hiding-place” in the
forest. Farmers are taking up most of the space in the
plains.

Plant trees and crops to make more plains and habitat.
