3. Selected idea in brief:
The selected “worst” idea is about selling the best and fastest cars of the world in a hilly area. The
business model is based in selling cars and offering after sales services. The main channel of selling is a
show room that will be opened in the area.
Why worst?
The idea sounds like “worst” because in a hilly area the potential drivers could not enjoy the power and
the performance that these cars have to offer and than, the potential owners are mostly farmers that
live far from the town and that are not used to this kind of product.
Turning in a better idea:
Our Approach to the business model selected is focused on a targeted and aggressive marketing
campaign. Thi s approach is due to the fact that is not possible to change deeply the revenue's structure
and the best area of intervention is how to promote and drive sales to this market.
To turn this “worst” idea in a better one and to attract potencial buyers in our showroom, we made a
commercial that enphasize, not only the car’s performance, but most of all what fast car represents like
“STATUS SIMBOL”. Indeed the most part of the owners of fast cars are not used to drive often at 300
Mph but are more used to drive their “street monster” slowly to show their status and demonstrate their
success. In other word with this commercial we want to exalt te fact the fast car’s value is not only in
velocity but in what these cars evoke and represent socially.
The campaing is targeted on male between 18 and 60 years old tha t could be the most sensible to the
product.
