    •  We used a bar graph because in the data different variables (song, artist) are shown. Also the frequency of their download is shown. Bar graphs are used to compare different variables. You can easily see the comparison between the different songs & how many people downloaded each.

    • A line graph is used to show changes over timein one distinctive variable.This particular graph of the x Games shows thenumber of people who attended from the years1995 to 2001.The increasing line indicates higher attendanceof people.

    • A pie chart shows a certain percentage for each variable , where each variable added up equals 100%. The bigger the slice is the more percentage of the whole thing is made up of that part or slice. It can be used to show how much something is liked(the song) compared to other things(all songs played on MTV total request live). Each song represents a certain percentage of it standing weeks at number one

    • A scatter plot represents a single data point with one mark (point) for every data point a visual distribution of the data can be seen. A scatter plot show positive or negative correlation. We chose to do a scatterplot for the comic book orders because the Est. sales have a positive correlation but the numbers are very far apart. A scatter plot is used to show a cluster, not the distinct point of the value.
