    1. Performance Coaching Is it Worth Investing In?
      • Performance Coaching, is it really worth it when you can get more people through a training course? It’s a question I am often asked. Answer: It depends
    2. Why? ....It depends on
      • The individual Coachee
      • The desired Outcome
      • Skills of the Coach
    3. Coaching does work
      • There is now a wealth of research data to demonstrate this
      • There has been a massive growth in the coaching market
      • Even the likes of Oprah and Jack Canfield have their own coach
    4. What’s good about Coaching
      • It focuses on the future and what’s possible
      • Increase a persons awareness of what they are capable of
      • Builds confidence and self belief
      • Inspires people
    5. What is Coaching?
      • A Definition
      • There are many and some seem misleading
      • as they talk about training and mentoring. I like this one “Coaching is about the coach working with the coachee to deliver possibilities unheard of alone”
    6. How does a Coachee realise what’s possible
      • The coach and coachee build a relationship
      • As a result the coachee realises that the obstacles they see in their path to success have been put there by themselves. In their own head
    7. How does a Coachee realise what’s possible
      • By the coach asking great questions, the coachee can build awareness and new skills to realise what’s possible for them
      • Of course then, it’s all about the coachee taking action....massive action
    8. Taking Action
      • I am reminded of the old story of “Teach man to fish rather than give him the fish on a plate”
    9. Performance Coaching
      • As a Performance Coach myself I love seeing sales managers and sales people have a new awareness. Seeing their joy when they get new results is fantastic Do I have my own coach? ....You bet I do
    10. My Own Coach
      • I have been investing in my own Coach now for 18 months. It’s been a significant investment and boy was I outside my comfort zone with the fees at first.
      • Now...It’s the best thing I have done for myself personally and professionally
    11. Next Steps
      • Get yourself a coach if you don’t have one. In your business or outside
