  • 3. DotCom bubble ● The DotCom bubble is a meaning of Internet bubble. ● Internet bubble generated mainly the United States in the end in the 1990's.
  • 4. What's happened with the DotCom bubble ● It is an abnormal climax of the actual demand investment and the stock investment of dot.com companies. ● The venture related to a lot of IT that was called "Dot com association company" was established. ● The bubble popped in 2001 though stock prices rose abnormally from 1999 to 2000.
  • 5. Influence in United States ● The investor in the United States began to invest in the enterprise positively. ● Therefore, the stock index of NASDAQ rose up to five times. ● As a result, the IT venture company gained vast wealth.
  • 6. Influence in United States ● However, stock prices have collapsed rapidly because the interest rate of the financial institution rose up. ● In addition, Sept. 11 terrorist attacks was generated in 2002. ● As a result, the IT venture company went bankrupt almost, and only a part of enterprises such as Google and Amazon survived.

Influence in Japan ● Web firm such as Yahoo JAPAN and Softbank rose recently in Japan. ● Most enterprises were withdrawing because OS war had started. ● Therefore, the enterprise in Japan that became the target of investment by this bubble was an enterprise related to the mobile phone and an enterprise related to the computer.

Influence in Japan ● The market became active overall, and stock prices rose a little in a part of other enterprises. ● And, the Internet bubble is generated in the United States, and the bubble has collapsed also in Japan. ● However, the influence of Japan was extremely little because it was bad times originally.
  • 9. Summary ● Internet bubble was generated in the United States, and a lot of enterprises went bankrupt. ● Because Sept. 11 terrorist attacks had been generated in the United States, too damage was large. ● Because Japan was bad times, damage was not so large.
