BTV Tentative Schedule and Events

                                                Spring 2009

Hey BTV Staff! You’ll notice some new things in the BTV administrative scheme of things. Firstly, you
have a “Staff Meeting”, which is technical for staff meeting. Everyone should be there. We’re having one
roughly every two Sundays, with some changes made to accommodate the holidays. It’s a time to get to
know each other as staff, to work across departments, and to workshop within your department.
Primarily, it’s to keep the whole staff up to date on things. We’re all part of the mission to bring this
station back and to new heights, and it’s important that everyone know what BTV is doing and how it’s
doing it—we’re all part of it.

Every meeting will be structures in just this way: (1) News and department updates (2) Break into
workshop.

BTV Workshop: BTV workshops are weekends where the whole staff is not required to meet, but certain
departments or sub-departments may be called in to report on/creatively discuss their progress with a
certain project and to work on it. It’s important that our meeting times not simply be informational
relay, but also active and productive so less work intrudes into your weekly schedule and is more
confined to BTV work hours. There is something going on every Sunday for BTV, except for some
holidays.
