1. Students’ orientation session
The PYP exhibition has a number of key purposes:
to be engaged in an in-depth, collaborative inquiry
to be independent and responsible for your own learning
to explore multiple perspectives
to synthesize( make) and apply your learning of previous years and to reflect upon your
journey through the PYP
to take action as a result of your learning
to be unitedwith your teachers, parents and other members of the school community in a
collaborative experience that incorporates the essential elements of the PYP
to celebrate your transition from primary to middle/secondary education.
The exhibition should include the following.
Examples of written work in a variety of formats and styles: poetry, reports, persuasive
texts
Oral presentations, individually or in groups, to the school community
Uses of technology including ICT, working models, designs, science experiments,for
instance, the use of digital images and videos, audio, digital portfolios, websites, data
projectors and commercially produced publishing software.
Performances or compositions in any medium: dance, music, drama, visual arts, film,
video, mixed media
You need to use many different skills to complete this project.
