2. Title Sequence
Title sequences are important in films and TV because
they are what sets the tone for the movie. They are also
introducing the director, the actors, ect. The most
important part is that they are introducing the movie
itself so they need to make it presentable and leave an
impact in your mind.
3. Motion Graphics & Composing
Motion graphics
Motion graphics are moving images that are designed and
created digitally.
By designing the intro or credit sequence as a motion
graphic it allows them to make the title sequence more
artistic and they are able to play around with lighting and
the colours to make it more dramatic if it’s a dark film for
example.

5. Casino Royale

• This title sequence is very creative as they really embrace the casino theme and use
in all aspects of the intro. They have mixed the playing cards in with the violence as
James Bond shoots people, not with bullets but with hearts and clubs.
• I like the way they make the
violence and blood look so
pretty and artistic so as the
viewer we automatically
think that James Bond is
doing good and not bad.

• This title sequence was very thrilling and
full of suspense due to the piece of music
they chose.
• I feel like I am experiencing it with him
and it builds up tension before the movie
begins.
• I like the way they made the characters in
the intro silhouetted because you can
create your own emotions for them and it
adds an element of mystery.

Monsters Inc.
These motion graphics have been produced
in a very simple and slick way. The music has
set the tone as happy and playful which will
set the tone for the movie. They used a
bright colour pallet to show the viewers that
it is a childish film. A big theme in the film is
the use of doors so I like how they played
around with that in the title sequence
creating a motif.
