Relive and Recreate the Bonds of Affection with Rakhi Sets from Rakhi.primogiftsindia.com
1. Relive and Recreate the Bonds of Affection with
Rakhi Sets from Rakhi.primogiftsindia.com
The joy of having a sibling is something, today’s generation, can hardly imagine, let alone fathom. As a
single child, they are being exposed to many luxuries of life, but are being devoid of some of the most
beautiful traditions that defined our culture and our heritage. Fortunately I had two elder brothers
before me, to pamper me and tease me. I can hardly imagine a life without them. When my daughter
Sahana was 3 years old, I came to know about a serious problem, in my ovary, that made it impossible
for me to conceive a second child. I was really sad, for I thought she would forever be deprived from the
joys of being a big sister.
I enrolled her into play school this year, and I came to know as a pleasant surprise that her school
intends to celebrate the occasion of rakhi inside the premises, with all other children. No doubt it was a
great decision and it made me more than happy. When I conveyed the news to my brothers, they too
were super excited and wanted to be a part of this unique experience. Every year I did send them
rakhis, but this time both of them volunteered to send me a set of 5 rakhis made of kundan and a set of
3 rakhis made on the models of cartoon characters from rakhi.primogiftsindia.com.
2. The rakhi sets they chose for Sahana and her friends were wonderful. They were made from the cut
outs of some famous cartoon characters like chota bheem, Superman and angry birds. They were not
only unique, but also very appealing for an average 3 year old. Personally I don’t think I would have
found something so interesting, even after hours of street hopping.
I have always been a great fan of Rakhi.primogiftsindia.com and this year I chose to send my brothers a
set of 2 rakhis made from delicate stones and a set of 3 rakhis to my cousins in USA made from
sandalwood, which is pretty rare on that part of the world. As a return gift, I was pampered with a set of
earring by my elder brother and bottle of French perfume from my younger brother. I must admit I get
pretty demanding on such occasions. After all, rakhi does not come every day and an occasion like this is
never complete, unless you get teased and haggle for a gift, that you know, will never be denied.
Rakhi is never complete without gifts and for little ones, the attraction of any festival, is multiplied by
the attraction of the gifts that were there in store for them. I made sure Sahana’s little brothers do not
feel disappointed on their first rakhi. Along with a set of 3 rakhis, I ordered a bunch of soft toys, and
Barbie doll gift hampers from this lovely website. For a little older kits, whom she called her “ bade
bhaiya”, I chose a set of 5 rakhis sent by her dear uncles and different types of kid’s hampers, that had
all the essential items needed for a kid, like shampoos, creams and lotions all from the Johnson and
3. Johnson brand. The gifts arrived well in advance and I took great care in packing each rakhi set
separately with colourful papers and decorated them with flowers. I have never seen my baby so happy
and engaged ever before, like I did on this festival.
