2. MIG Welding
MIG welding, or MIG, is stand for "Metal Inert Gas" which is known as "Gas Metal Arc Welding"
or "GMAW". The gases used in industry in high quantity, so the name has been changed to "Gas
Metal Arc Welding". It is also famous as "Wire Wheel Welding". This method done by wire feed
to feed solid filler wire to the weld joint. The wire feed is joined to a constant voltage power
supply that produces the arc to melt the wire when it hits the weld joint. Before the wire
produce an arc there must to be a shielding gas removed through the system. MIG welding is
done by MIG gun that combines the wire, power supply and gasses all at simultaneously. The
MIG gun has a fire that, once squeezed, starts the process of metal joining. This process is
considered semi-automatic because it needs at least one man power. This metal joining process
is usually used in factories where production is high. Advantage of MIG welding is easy to
operate but setting up the equipment can be harder for less experienced operator.

3. ARC Welding
Arc welding is consider as the most easily and readily accessible welding process on the earth.
Most of the welders or workers are choose to use this method of arc or stick welding. ARC
Welding technique in which economical apparatus are used and a steady flow of A.C or D.C is
mandatory with constant energy. Fusion is generated by an electric arc that is joined with the
base material as well as the electrode and metal is melted while joining. Shielding gas appears
after the job and the work is made quickly. In this process the percentage of heat absorption is
very high, so the chance of distortion is very less.
