Adopt Me! Presentation to PAAS Volunteers

Laura Steinzer, volunteer for the shelter in Santa Barbara
Cynthia narrated the power point presentation and demoed the app. The response was positive with a
collection of questions and ideas.
Can a photo and a Tweet be uploaded independently of each other?
Can the story url be pushed back into the PetHarbor Data Base?
Will there be a QR code at the shelter?
Can anyone log on to the app outside of the volunteers?
Will there be a reward system and/or recognition for the volunteer actively engaged in the app?
Will there be a back button?
Will the volunteers be able to upload videos and will there be a time limitation on them? Cody, Animal
Control Officer, currently takes videos, uploads them to Chameleon which links it to PetHarbor.
Will there be an interface to upload a picture from another phone or camera?
Laura Steinzer will manage our Facebook page!!!
We had a great meeting. Asst. Chief Beacom was to stay a short while, but ending up staying the length of the
meeting. We were so pleased to get all of the feedback. A wonderful start to the first demo of the app!
