Arequipa was founded on August 15, 1540 by Don Garcí Manuel de Carjabal. It is known as the "White City" because its main constructions are made of sillar stone. It is also known as the "City of Eternal Blue Sky" because it has radiant sun all year round. Arequipa has three volcanoes called Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu. Arequipa is a very beautiful city because it has countryside areas and tourist sites that are visited by many tourists.
