1. How did you attract/address your audience? The main way in which I attracted and addressed my audience was by using the audiences stereotypes to my advantage. I did this by playing with the colour scheme, using relative language, cover lines, fonts and layout. I also chose wisely who I featured within my magazine to engage with the audience. The price of my magazine and the fact I have included free posters will attract the audience into buying or even looking at my magazine.
2. How I attracted my audience I played on my audiences expectations a lot, and used what they were expecting to see within my magazine as an advantage what to include. For example the price, layout, colour scheme, freebee’s, featured artists, cover lines ect. Cover lines would attract the audience because they indicate what is to feature within the magazine and whether it would be worth spending money in buying the magazine or not. The layout of the magazine is important as that is what will attract the audience most of the time as you want to give off the right impression of a good content. The main reason I would buy a magazine would be because of the featured artist, this being a main reason why my audience would buy the magazine if a relative interesting/ big band was to feature. I used the new female band GLAMOURRR to attract the female audience The price of the magazine is important as my target audience are pretty young and money won’t come frequent. The audience only possibly getting pocket money. Freebee’s will attract the audience because they are led to believe they are getting something for free, where as there not as there buying the magazine. Colour scheme: The connotations relate and reflect the audience’s stereotype.
3. How I addressed my audience I used relative and pacific language to address my audience, by this I mean I used language or phrases which will be commonly used with the audience’s age group for example ‘EPIC’ I was especially careful whilst writing my article in terms of the language, which would engage the audience and create an understanding.
