2. Watch the waves – the large and the small. Hitting the shore incessantly and untiringly. Waves have the undying passion of meeting the shore. We also wonder about the purpose of the non-stop motion of the waves. And the lessons we can learn from waves... www.reach.ind.in
3. Waves don't get tired. They have a job to do - meet the shore again and again. So they keep on. When we have a job to do, we must behave like that. We will probably get tired, but we should remember to recoup our energies, recharge our batteries and keep going incessantly till we reach our goal. www.reach.ind.in
4. Waves have an undying passion to meet the shore. We should have an undying passion about our work and our purpose in life. Whatever may be your occupation, if you develop passion for excellence, you will get unbelievable results. Never let the enthusiasm get stifled. www.reach.ind.in
5. Waves of climbers have reached the summit of Everest this past week. There have been a number of rescues on the mountain and unfortunately a few climbers have also lost their lives. My hope is that with so many summits it encourages all of us to have the gumption, tenacity, and spirit to reach our personal and leadership summits while also staying connected with others and doing all we can to help others. www.reach.ind.in
6. The unswerving perseverance of the waves is one admirable quality that any leader would wish to have along a path which is often strewn with obstacles. www.reach.ind.in
7. Once in a while, take a break to recharge your batteries. Take time to sharpen your saw. The waves cannot continue they way they do if they were to lose their energy in the process. Somewhere in the lap of mother nature, they find huge resources of energy. Perhaps we can learn to find our own hidden reserves by maintaining physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Meditation is probably the best technique to tap this resource. www.reach.ind.in
8. Merely sitting on the seashore and watching the waves for a period of time would put you in an introspective mode. We all need to introspect – re-view our progress, re-prioritize our goals, re-evaluate our selves, re-align our processes. www.reach.ind.in
