Earth’s Biomes  By Gabriella Becerra  
Rainforest  The Rainforest Biome is in all the continents. The annual rainfall is 90 inches. It is has the most diversity of animals and plants. The temperature needs to be between 70 °  and 85 °  degrees F to be a  Tropical Rainforest . Tree Fern Tapir Orchid Gorilla
Grassland  The grass lands can be called a Sahara. Grasslands are often located between deserts and forests. The annual rainfall is between 10 and 30 inches of rain. Grasslands are on every continent beside Australia. The temperature in the summer is 100°  degrees F.  Elephant Giraffe
Taiga   Taiga is located at the top of Canada and Asia. It gets 30 inches of rain per year. It is cold all year round and its trees consist  of evergreen trees. The average temperature is winter, low -65 °   F (-54 °   C), high 30 °   F (-1 °   C) summer, low - 20 °   F (-7 °   C),  high - 70 °   F (21 °   C) Beaver
Tundra  The tundra is very bear and plain. The plants are small shrubs. The tundra is located at the top of Canada and Asia. The average rainfall is 10 inches, the same as the desert. In the winter the temperature is -60° degrees Fahrenheit (-51°  degrees Celsius) and the summer is between 50°  degrees F (10° degrees C) and 32°  degrees F (0°  degrees C).
Desert  In the desert there are actually rivers and lakes, called oasis. The rain fall is 10 inches of rain  per year!  Deserts are found in all countries besides South America. The temperature ranges from 20-25°  degrees. It can get very cold at night.
Deciduous Forest In the deciduous forest trees do not lose there leaves all year round. The deciduous forest gets 60 inches of rain all year. Deciduous forest are found in the eastern half of the United States, Canada, Europe, parts of Russia, China, and Japan .  The temperature is usually 50 °    degrees   F.
