Ships are dizzier than planes.
Complete the sentences using the correct words. Follow the example.

A ship is slower than a plane.
A taxi is less/more comfortable than a bus.
A train is noisier than a car.
Rules for “ comparatives ”:
1 syllable : (adj) + er slower, cheaper
2 syllable or more: more/less + (adj) more expensive
Irregular: good better bad worse
Ends with “y” replaced with “i”: dizzy dizzier

Write down this on your notebook and
complete the dialogue with the most suitable expression.

Find out 10 adjectives in the “word search”
Write 3 sentences in the comparative form and 3 in the superlative form.
The sentences must be related to means of transport.
The first group in finishing will have a prize.

What the teacher thinks of…
I think the best way for moving from one place to another is the underground because it is faster and securer than other services. However , it is the most expensive of all.
I like it because you can know exactly the time you need to go from one point to another. What I don’t like is that it is quite warm and that sometimes makes me get dizzy.
I don’t mind going in a crowded wagon. So , I disagree with people who don’t like it or don’t use it because of the fact it is uncomfortable.
