Forty-two years ago, Jerry Mickelson and Arny Granat founded JAM
Productions, Ltd. in Chicago. The two partners initially began the company in
an effort to score better seats to concerts, however, despite their original,
modest goals, Mickelson and Granat quickly turned JAM into the country’s
largest entertainment promotion/production company, producing shows
throughout North America and the world. In 2012, JAM produced more than
1,400 shows and events.
In 1989, JAM formed Entertainment and Creative Services to assist
corporations, non-profits and private organizations in securing and producing
headline entertainment for private events. Since then, JAM Entertainment and
Creative Services has expanded its services and staff to address the diverse
and demanding needs of corporate and private clients. While JAM still
provides headline entertainment and production, JAM does everything for
events and meetings from production and staging, design and décor, catering
and concept, fundraising and sponsorship. We can manage an event entirely,
or support an event with production, talent booking or even consultation.
For the past forty-two years JAM Productions has been providing audiences
with the finest concerts, theatricals and custom productions across the
country. We offer our clients the confidence, creativity and experience that
come from a company whose history spans four decades and more than
30,000 events in every type of space imaginable.
