2. The History Of Horror The first ever Horror Film was called Le Manoir Du Diable . It was released in 1896 and was approximately two minutes. The film contained many typical horror objects, such as bats, spiders, skeletons and monsters. After this the next major horror was Nosferartu . It was a full length film and was an adaptation of the novel Dracula . The studio could not obtain the copyright rights, therefore they adapted the names and other details for instance, Dracula became Nosferartu and Count Dracula became Count Orlaf.
3. Rosemary's Baby The film was released on 1968 and was Directed by Roman Polanski It was rated 19th scariest Horror film by an independant research company.
4. The Plot Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse move into an apartment in a building with a bad reputation. They discover that their neighbours are a very friendly elderly couple named Roman and Minnie Castevet, and Guy begins to spend a lot of time with them. Strange things start to happen: a woman Rosemary meets in the washroom dies a mysterious death, Rosemary has strange dreams and hears strange noises and Guy becomes remote and distant. Then Rosemary falls pregnant and begins to suspect that her neighbours have special plans for her child.
