Fusion Energy
What is Fusion energy? Fusion is the combination of two atomic nuclei to release a massive amount of energy.   Fusion energy is traditionally done by the combination of Deuterium and tritium, two isotopes of hydrogen.

Negatives of Fusion Power Fusion Energy has been attempted since the 1950’s with no success so far. Total cost to the U.S. government alone has been 20 billion dollars on research. Takes an extreme amount of heat for the reaction to occur. Like any nuclear energy, produces radioactive waste.
