    Guam 2009 - Presentation Transcript

    1. Guam 2009
    2. 1st stop…. Cairns, Australia
      Botanic gardens.
    3. Can you see the ‘balls’ in the tree?
      We though Matt would like this.
    4. We hung out at this big sea water pool by the ocean.
    5. The Pelicans were hot too.
    6. Next stop Guam…. Very, very hot.
      You swim everyday. Especially with this in front of Jeremy & Roisin’s house.
    7. Roisin & Ashling pop down to the pier for a change of venue.
      A tropical sunset, taken from their porch (true!).
    8. The surf looked pretty good…..
    9. So we went out in the boat for a closer look.
      Can you spot Roisin & Mary?
    10. A day on the beach. This is the touristy part of Guam….
    11. Where they have wedding chapels alongside high-rise resorts.(The Japanese go there to get married).
    12. Jeremy took us in his boat to Coco Island. That’s Guam in the background.

    15. A road trip to Talalofa blowholes.
    16. Reading the paper at Magelan’s Landing.
    17. Lots of museums and places commemorating WW2 where Japan invaded Guam for 31months, then were defeated by an American attack.
    18. Kava drinking (narcotic) at a Pacific festival.
    19. London bridge on an Island road.
    20. And the true state of some Island roads.
    21. Another tropical beach at the northern end of the island.

    24. Roisin took us to the ‘Priest pools’.You leap in from a great height!
    25. We were invited by their friend to see his ranch.
    26. We LOVED Guam too.
    27. We got our PADI (Skuba diving) ticket

    30. Then we went to Byron Bay, Australia, for a wedding.
    31. My brother’s son Daniel married Krystal.
      Family time….. Mary, John & Pamela.
