This project involved improving fisheries-related roads in South Tarawa from 2007-2008. Work included removing the surface layers of roads in Betio (58,399 sqm), Bairiki (15,363 sqm), and Bikenibeu (1,997 sqm) as well as leveling the subgrade in Betio (59,906 sqm), Bairiki (15,831 sqm), and Bikenibeu (1,677 sqm). Subbase course work and other tasks were also part of the project.
