2. Guacamayo species are common in South
America, in countries such as Suriname, Brazil,
Bolivia, Venezuela and Guyana, since they like
more open areas, such as jungles and savannas,
although they also live in plantations.
Their diet is based on fruits, seeds, flowers and
nuts, which makes them totally herbivorous
animals.
