Drinking, Household need, and Irrigation, Livestock, No
of House hold to be covered, No of units to be installed)
• Community Participation for Management and
Distribution (Separate for Drinking, Household need,
Supply to the Individual and at the Common Point,
Sharing of costing)
• Costing- Rs.50,000/- to 60,000/- for covering 30-40
Household in a compact village (Average Cost wiil be
Rs.1500/- per H.H.)
3. Cont.
• We don’t have much experience but one
of NGO done in Kandhamal, which costing
is Rs.17 to 20 lacs including irrigation and
supply to electricity to 30 to 40 household.
• Solar pump, wind mill can be another
option for both irrigation,drinking water
and Electricity
• Solar pump-4 lacs for 80 H.H.
• Wind Mill- Rs. 70,000/- for 20 H.H.
