72% of the students (n=30) who responded to the survey indicated that they participated in zero week.
Of those students who knew about zero week and chose not to participate, they either were experienced in online courses, were not sure if they would be remaining in the class, or did not have the time to participate.
Most students who participated in zero week reported finding out about it through email or Canvas.
The majority of the students reported that the zero week interventions were “helpful” and “very helpful” to the learning experience.
Results for SPA101, section 1:

Students who did zero week and finished the course with C or better: 9, 75%
Results for SPA101, section 2:

Students who did zero week and finished the course with C or better: 7, 100%
Results for ENG200:
Students who registered: 13
Students who did zero week: 8, 62%
Students who did zero week and finished the course with C or better: 7, 88%
The MAT212 course saw more success after participating in zero week. There were 4 A's, 3 B's, and 8 C's with 8 students opting to withdraw. 15/23 (65%) students were 'successful' in this course after participating in zero week which is up from Fall of 2013 where only 8/21 (38%) were successful.
