The Hijab is a covering that Muslim
women wear to conceal their hair from
the outside world, they only bare
themselves to family and other
Muslim women.
The Hijab is said to be an oppressive
part of the Muslim faith, but contrary
to popular belief most Muslim women
actually enjoy and love wearing the
Hijab and they embrace it, saying it is
their right and their freedom as an
American.
The Hijab has even been banned in
France.

and even some take it upon

fear, others do it for social
acceptance.
• Others do it out of Law, one that
isn't present in the United States
