• We decided to film outside Kiera’s house (a
member of the group) because it is a basement
flat, meaning that in order to film outside of her
house, you would need to go downstairs to lead
you to the front door; there are grills In front of her
door which gives an effect of being trapped,
which is what Sarah ends up being as she reaches
her house.
• Also, due to the fact that Kiera’s house is situated in
an area which gives you very little light, it was an
advantage for us because it would create an
eerie feel for the audience.

• Another location that we have decided to film in is
South Norwood Lake Park. We have chosen to
film in the park because it is located near Kiera’s
house which would be beneficial for the chase
scene. Moreover, the park is quite isolated and
very quiet. This is effective because horror films
aren’t usually set in areas that are normally
considered over-crowded and noisy.

• Due to the fact that we had decided to film in one
of our group member’s house(Kiera) it means that
Kiera was only required to ask her parents for
permission to use her house as a location, which
they happily accepted.
