• Media Studies involves the close analysis
of the images, sounds and text that we
experience via the media.
• It is the study and creation of individual
media texts.
• Our focus in Year 12 is on FILM and
TELEVISION
• You need to develop an understanding of
the following things in relation to these:

8. Foundation Portfolio
• Evidence needs to be accessed
electronically by the examiner
• Work must be completed on time and
show a record of all the stages from pre-
production to post-production
