media technologies construction research planning evaluation

1. How did you use media technologies in the construction and research,
planning and evaluation stages?
In the construction and research stage, I used media technologies such
as the Mac to research on the Internet to do things such as trailer
analysis. I also used Microsoft Word to take down notes and I used the
Power Point Presentation for the best way for me to remember these
notes as I could present them to myself if I couldn't remember. I also used
a camera for Audience research as it was the best way to get accurate
research rather than just taking down the notes. I also used iMovie as I
had to edit the Audience Research to create the video properly. I did the
Certificate Ratings and I used the Internet and Power Point and Word for
this. I also did the Genre research so we watched the horror trailers and I
checked out the history of horror's and I tried to find out what made horror
films scary by incorporating that into the Audience Research. In the
planning stage, we made a Mood board and we produced a Company
Logo after looking on the internet on the Mac's for different examples. I
also made a plan for my film poster and my magazine cover. For help on
this, i used the internet and other examples of film posters and magazine
covers for help. After drawing these plans out on paper, i scanned them
so i could email them to myself so i could keep an extra copy in case my
papers got lost. I also then started to use Publisher in the Evaluation
stage so that i could make the drawing in to an actual magazine cover or
an actual poster. The video was also finalised on iMovie with only a few
tweaks here and there but with not much else to do and that finished off
our coursework.
