1. News LetterMs. Morson’sclass Summary: For the next few week our class will be working of a project to go along with our unit, MATH IN THE REAL WORLD. The project will require students to explore how they can use math to run a store. I think that this unit will teach the students some valuable math skills, and the project will reinforce the concepts as well as motivate the students to learn about math along with how to work in a group. I hope that you will be supportive of this valuable learning experience for the students. Please read the project details on the next page. Project based learning is a way to teach that is centered on projects. It has been proven to be very effective. I hope to do many other projects throughout the year.
