Cisco UCS Support
AccelOps uses Cisco UCS XML API to discover Cisco UCS and to collect hardware statistics.

Follow Cisco UCS documentation to enable AccelOps to connect to the device via Cisco UCS API.

Defining Cisco UCS credential in AccelOps

   1. Go to Admin > Setup wizard > Credentials
   2. In Step 1: Enter credentials, click Add and enter the following information and click Save
          o Name: name of this credential
          o Device type: Cisco UCS
          o Access protocol: UCS API
          o Credentials: user name and password
Test connectivity

   1. Go to Admin > Setup wizard > Credentials
   2. In Step 2: Enter IP range to credential associations, click Add and enter the following information and
      click Save
          o IP/HostName: IP address of the Cisco UCS device
          o Credentials: name of the Cisco UCS credential defined in the previous step
   3. Click Test Connectivity and make sure the test succeeds

Discovering Cisco UCS

   1. Go to Admin > Setup wizard > Discover infrastructure
   2. Click Add and enter the following information and press OK
          o Name: Name of this discovery
          o Discovery Type: Range Scan
          o Include Range and Exclude IP Ranges
   3. Select the discovery item and click Discover




   4. Go to Monitor Change/Performance and see the monitored Cisco UCS performance objects
