Work and involvement in the games • Atkins as a company has played a large part in making the London 2012 Olympic Games happen • The first official engineering design services provider to an Olympic Games • Work includes the design of structures, bridges and highways • Planning of temporary venues

Work and involvement in the games Enabling works including - •Site investigation •Demolition and clearance •Soil washing •Groundwater treatment •Bulk earthworks •River wall repair and replacement •Temporary construction of roads and bridges •Archaeology •Eradication and treatment of invasive weeds
    • 4. Work and involvement in the games Utilities infrastructure including – • Electrical substation and distribution network • Water networks • Gas networks • Telecommunications network • Energy centre and associated heating and cooling networks .
    • 5. Work and involvement in the games Atkins are the planning agent for the London 2012 enabling works on: •Olympic Park site-wide project comprising large-scale earthworks •Land remediation •River walls •Planning for Olympic venues Planning
