• To help differently-abled people to have a better

• Invest for children together with Laureus, has
given the total financial support to the Spanish
Partner team for the Special Olympics World Summer
Games in Shanghai.
• Invest for children has produced a book,
Shanghai Special Olympics, that narrates the
i4c Support Special Olympics World Summer Games through
a series of photgraphies that show the real
meaning of being an intellectually disabled
athlete and that their integration is possible.

• Caja Navarra together with Invest for children
has developed a new financial product to help

• For the third time in less than a year, i4c has
donated five additional Caja Navarra saving
plans to five workers with Down’s syndrome..
Besides, i4h has published a new book, Ready
i4c Support for Life, a book showing that laboural integration
of intellectually disabled people is possible. This
book shows the experience of 17 workers of
Spanish and multinational companies.

equipment for their emergency ward for
children.

• To help differently-abled people to have a

they live.
• The Theodora Foundation was born with the aim
of relieving through laughter the suffering of
children spending time in hospital through
laughter. It works towards that aim by
Partner organising weekly visits by professional artists,
the Clown Doctors (or, as they are known in
Spain, the Doctores Sonrisa), who devote their
time and attention to children who have been
hospitalised.
• i4c is providing the necessary financial resources
i4c Support to maintain a “Doctor Sonrisa” for a full year at
the Hospital Vall D’Hebron in Barcelona.

 i4c also supports initiative in other sectors which are in line with its mission of developing a better quality of
life and a more sustainable development of our society. Not exhaustive examples are the following:
• iInvest for children supports the United Nations Global Compact initiative focused on
promoting key guidelines in making business decisions with particular focus on human
rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption rules.
• Invest for children is a full member of the European Venture Philanthropy Association, an
organisation aimed to promote venture philanthropy across Europe.
• Invest for children is a full member of Private Equity Foundation. The mission is to
empower young people to reach their full potential. We do this by investing both money
and expertise from the private equity community, to help excellent charities achieve a
step-change in their impact.

 Venture Capital, Private Equity funds have become a major force in Europe during the past years and social
obligations come with this success.
