doing!

This is a living document, capable of transforming my life. The
words are spirit and life.
When I read God’s words, I cannot stay the same.
As I read today, I discover hidden Secrets
God’s word is a hammer – it breaks my resistance, A double edged
sword – it judges my thoughts and attitude, A fire – consuming what
is not right, A lamp and light – showing me the way, A seed –
growing in me to bring forth harvest, Food – nourishing my spirit,
A mirror – keeping me in check and shape.
5. + Previous Lessons from Luke 12

your heart is far away from Him.

8. Our Intelligence and eloquence is not sufficient as a witness,
the Holy Spirit would help us. Prepare and wait for the Holy
Spirit.
9. How to Deny Jesus – hope no one things we are his disciples,
decide not to speak up for what is right, be silent about our
relationship with God, blend into society, accept our culture’s
non-Christian values.
10. How to confess Jesus – live a life that honors Christ, look for
opportunities to witness, help others in need, love others, take a
stand for justice, acknowledge our loyalty to Christ, use our
lives and resources to carry out His desires rather than ours.
11. There is a sin that is unpardonable! It’s the sin that destroys the
conscience of a man, leads him along a path for which he will
not seek repentance. It’s a sin against the one who is able to
convict him of SIN – The Holy Spirit.
In the Midst of the Talk of Eternity – Expect men to be focused on
temporal and life transactional things!
7. + Previous Lessons from Luke 12

God, and doing His WORK!

much of it, can be used for God’s purpose.

12. +Lessons from Mark 4:1-20

follows the broad way, the few the narrow gate. The multitude
yearns to hear, Jesus speaks to the disciples. Are you in the
multitude or the disciples?
2. The people who are given access to understand the mysteries
of the kingdom are those who have an intimate relationship
with Jesus.
3. This parable is the foundational parable that defines how all
the other parables operate. This is a key parable, a definitive
one. Master it!
4. The seed is the word of God!
5. The sower is God’s messenger!
6. The Soil is different types of hearers
13. +Lessons from Mark 4:1-20
7. The messenger does not make the SEED. He receives the seed
from God, and scatters it.
8. The sower cannot prejudge the readiness of the hearts, he must
just sow on every available heart. To preach to every creature.
9. Our duty is not measured by the character of our listeners, but by
the command of our Master! We must be involved in His will!
10. The 4 Qualities of Hearts, which is yours? “Way-Side”,“Stony-
ground”,“among thorns”,“good ground”.
11. The Way-Side Hearers – There mind is a busy exchange, a busy
thoroughfare! Their hearts are hardened and the passengers not
few.
12. Stony Ground Hearers – Receive the word with Joy, but have no
deep convictions. No personal depth. Can’t face the persecutions
that are set up with the message. The same reason they received
the word quickly, is same reason they dump it!
14. +Lessons from Mark 4:1-20
13. The Among thorn hearers – Choked by the cares of this
world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desire for other
things.
14. The ground ground hearers – Not good by nature, but made
good by grace. Those who hear the word, accept it and bear
fruits!
15. The real proof that any word has been heard and accepted
is the fruit it bears. Is the truth you know bearing fruit in
your life?

Scriptures
It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35)
1 Thes 5:12-18
12 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge
those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord
and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in
love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.
14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are
idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the
weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody
pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is
good for each other and for everyone else.
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all
circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
21. +
The Way He Wants You to Live!
12-13 And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who
work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of
urging and guiding you along in your obedience. Overwhelm
them with appreciation and love!
13-15 Get along among yourselves, each of you doing your part.
Our counsel is that you warn the freeloaders to get a move on.
Gently encourage the stragglers, and reach out for the
exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each
person, attentive to individual needs. And be careful that when
you get on each other’s nerves you don’t snap at each other.
Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring
it out.
16-18 Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no
matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong
to Christ Jesus to live.
