    • Judaism begin about 4000 years ago with the Hebrew people in the mode East
    HOW DID JUDAISM BEGIN?

    • Abraham was Hebrew man i considered the father of the Jewish religion.
    • His live has named Sara, they were old and children, but God told them that their children would be as plentiful as the stars would live in a promised land.
  • 4.
    • In the faith Jewish only there is a God.
    • The Jewish religion is one of the three oldest monotheistic religions, the Judaism has fewer followers than the three monotheistic religions
  • 5.
    • The practice of Judaism is based on the teachings of the Torah is the sacred book of the Jews. The books written in the Torah contribute to divine inspiration.
  • 6.
    • Jewish faith is based on the believe omniscience and omnipotent God who had created the universe and the Jews chose to reveal the law of ten Commandments.
    • The rules of these texts are the guide of life of the Jews. God promised the Israelites the promised land.
  • 7. The ten commandments, as written in the Torah, are:
    • Worship no other God but me
    • Don’t make images to worship
    • Don’t misuse the name of God
    • Observe the Sabbath Day (Saturday) Keep it Holy
    • Honor and respect your father and mother
    • Don’t murder
    • Don’t commit adultery
    • Don’t steal
    • Don’t accuse anyone falsely. Don’t tell lies about other people
    • Don’t envy other’s possessions
  • 8.
    • Israel itself is a very sacred place to Jewish people.
    • In particular, Jerusalem is important because it is the ancient capital of Israel and the site of the original temple.
  • 9.
    • Jewish people worship in synagogues. A synagogues is a center for Jewish life.
