Syllabus - Grades 1)   Class Website :  www.govandlaw.org/mvhs   (hw, extra handouts, class blogs, class slides)  2)   Daily Materials : Pencil, pen, and a notebook  exclusively  used for this class. 3)   Grades : No weights, Your total/Total possible 4)   10 Points : Most activities: particip, hw, quizzes  5)   100 Points : Class journals, tests, and projects 6)   Test Format : Tests are  20  questions:  15  questions from class notes,  5  questions from in-class readings and class journal activities (esp. multimedia activities) 7)   60% Policy : Test scores below 60 can be retaken for a max of 60.
 
 
Workbook Setup: Draw a line between days. Use back and front of pages. Opener  (graded) Write  date ,  topic ,  opener # Then 3-5 questions. Notes  (written or printed) In-class notes go next.  Note 75% of test from notes. Either way, you must  highlight  terms. Journal Section  (graded) Journal sections correspond to the opener #, and then go in letter a-z order.  Title:  must be included in each work section. 25% of test from work sec. Surprise quizzes 100% based off notes and work sections.
