    • Phase III of the Downtown Revitalization process has been completed. The City of Thomasville has invested $2.5 million in Phases I and II of the revitalization of its Downtown Area.
    • Unique residential and mixed-use developments

    • In the year 2005, BOEING sponsored Thomasville’s First Rural Supplier Conference.
    • Over the last three years, our conference has offered many local businesses networking opportunities with companies such as BOEING, Northrop Grumman, NASA, SBA, SAIC, etc…
    • This year, our Fourth Annual Supplier Conference was held in the newly renovated Thomasville Civic Center and was a huge success!
    • The new South Industrial Park features 135 acres available for high tech, light industrial and high industrial firms.
    • Thomasville’s Second Speculative Building. Complete Over 50,000 Square Feet With access to Norfolk Southern Railroad and Highway 43

    • In 2010, ground will break on the $25 million Southwest Alabama Medical Center, situated on a 40-45 acre complex, which will be a part of the Southwest Medical Park.
    • In a recent four page article, Business Alabama Magazine wrote about Thomasville’s success.
    • Sen. McCain, Gov, Bob Riley, Mayor Sheldon Day, Carly Fiorina, and John Clyde Riggs on the Straight Talk Express.
