8.  Anticipate between 1250 to 1400 patients
will have a stroke in our service area this
coming year.
 We want to be able to effect their outcome in
a positive way.
 80% of all strokes can be prevented.

10.  Increase Stroke Care Network if can get
assistance with funding
 Decrease unnecessary ED transfers from
Nursing homes by having telemedicine carts
there for patients to be evaluated by ED
physicians or extenders
 Decrease unnecessary ED transfers from
correctional facilities.
 Internal Medicine physicians and specialty
physician to consult with our already existing
affiliate facilities.
