2. What is the issue with iOS5 upgrade?
• When you try to update to iOS5, device is bricked.
• When device is reset ‘Erase all content and settngs’, device
gets bricked.
• Sometimes, without any reason, iPad-1 gets bricked.

• Apple customer care or genius bar spend hours to
resolve but failed
• Finally asked to pay for new device since device is
out of warrant. Then try to negotiate for 50% of
price.
• Claims that if device gets bricked while on iOS5 and
device is out of warranty, its user fault.
Has Apple published anywhere that out-of-warranty
iPhone4 or iPad upgrade to iOS5 is at customer risk? .
5. Planned Steps
First step: Collect the substantial evidence that
devices are getting affected since iOS5 upgrade.
Second step: Seek legal advice if needed.
We hope that if we get substantial support, we can convince
APPLE that asking customers to pay for their iOS5 upgrade
mess-up is wrong.
