19. Evening Security
OTC wishes to inform evening students that we are committed to
providing access to and exit from our evening classes as well as
providing a safe environment inside our facilities. We have security
personnel available during all hours of evening operation. Anyone
requiring assistance from security should feel free to contact security
personnel directly or contact the evening receptionist, the evening
director of operations, or any instructor who will contact security for
you.
Evening security personnel constantly check our buildings every
evening and may be stopped for assistance at any time by students.
Security also travels through student parking areas for the purpose
of providing security for students on a routine basis. Security is
stationed in the parking lots at dusk and late hours at the typical
class ending times of 7:30 p.m. and 9:30-9:45 p.m.
20. Evening Security
OTC evening security personnel wear shirts with “Security”
clearly printed on their shirts. As they travel the parking lots
after dark they will be in golf carts with a flashing yellow light.
The golf carts allow them to get to students quickly for
assistance. They also carry radios that are linked to the
evening receptionist and evening director to enable a quick
response.
Any evening student who would like to be escorted from
her/his vehicle going to class or after class going back to
her/his vehicle may contact security personnel directly or call
the front desk (287-6584) or evening director (287-5807). OTC
wants every student to know that security is not only an
expectation for our students but also our commitment to our
campus’s safety.
