Esubmission in WOLF

 1. 1. e-Submission in WOLF: a guide for markers School of Education
 2. 2. Submission (student's view)

Students see the eSubmission in the Topic Menu from midnight on the Open date to midnight on the Deadline date

They can upload a single file as easy as attaching a file in an email (this can also be a zip file that could contain more than one file)

 3. 3. eSubmission (student's view)

Students can resubmit replacement files until the deadline at which point their last submission becomes their work for marking

All submitted files are renamed to a unique name in a single standard format defined by the University's eSubmission Working Group - a resubmission overwrites the previous file

 4. 4. eSubmission (student's view)

Students can view their submitted file, and review when they submitted it

Students get a receipt to their university email

 5. 5. eSubmission (tutor's view)

To view who has submitted, go to Topic Admin>Esubmissions

After the deadline date, this is where start marking

 6. 6. eSubmission (tutor's view)

Tutors can download a zip archive of all eSubmissions or download them individually by clicking on the View icon and saving to your computer. Please don’t rename the file – it will cause problems

 7. 7. eSubmission (tutor's view)

Files cannot be annotated in WOLF - ED4122 will commonly be using Add Comment in Word and/or copy and pasting an agreed marking template at the end of student work. Annotated files must be of the same type as the original file. Office 2007 users click Review to Add New Comment.

 8. 8. eSubmission (tutor's view)

An annotated version of the file can be uploaded by the tutor. Again, uploading again will over-write any previous submission so second marking could be carried out in the comments box

Tutors can apply a score and a grade, press Save Marks to allow for tea breaks, back exercises, union meetings. Once finished the module leader presses Publish Current Marks.

 9. 9. Submission (student's view)

Results:

Students see their score and/or grade in the Topic menu item

Students may access the annotated version of their eSubmission

eSubmissions in WOLF are not deletable by tutors and remain part of a Topic archive and the corporate record
