1. 1. Dennis RawlsFuture Psychologist
by Dennis Rawls
2. 2. Communication Skills
Ability to make good first impressions with eye to eye contact through person to person skills.
3. 3. Experiences in my Field
Shadowed in a local High school of approximately 1,400 students. Worked with the Youth and Young/Adult as an advisory and chaperoned trips, talked one-on-one with students about the importance of staying in school and planning for their future.
Strongest interpersonal skills include communication techniques, listening skills techniques, personal empathy techniques and person to person skills.
4. 4. Communication
I have had good communication with the shadowing experience through the summer months for 2009 and 2010.
I have also had an opportunity to help a particular students and professionals to achieve their goals in their lives.
6. 6. Family Man
Although Dennis is a loyal family man, this is an example of loyalty, integrity and character as a married man with five children.
7. 7. Work History
I have an interesting work history has been outstanding and I have
demonstrated my loyalty and dedication to my previous position traffic
engineer of 15 years and present positions as customer service analyst.
My abilites to deal with the understanding of clients, general public and
on my present position allow my diversity to expand to a comfortable
level for the future as a psychologist. One advantage is the ability to deal
with be Work–Family conflict which has been defined as work that is a
form of conflict that will cause the role pressures from work and family
domains to sometimes be viewed as mutually or morally compatible in some
respect (Greenhaus & Beutell, 1985).
8. 8. Public Service is a top priority in my future Psychology field.
