In case of Asperger syndrome- girls with Asperger’s syndrome generally mask symptoms. Girls tend
to follow social action by delayed imitation. Their reaction is delayed because they observe other
children and copy them. This can perhaps mask their Asperger’s symptoms
In case of Autism girls interact socially more often. Girls with autism are often more aware of and
feel the need to interact. They are more involved in social activities, however, are led by peers
rather than initiating social contactthemselves.

more pretend play. They are more prone to escape into their own fictionalized land or world, for
instance, of fairies and witches.
