3. Her father would buy her boxes and boxes of coloured pencils

4. Her Year 12 major art work was a large scale coloured pencil drawing

5. After school the pencils were put away Art was no more

6. Years later……            Melissa began to draw again

7. Creating abstract art using coloured pencils

9. Her drawings are instinctive and she keeps layering and colouring until they sing

10. Every drawing takes hours upon hours

11. The drawings are a way for Melissa to express her words of emotions and thoughts into images
