Agribusiness Society of the University of the West Indies

2.  Agri-based students at UWI, St. Augustine campus, are
united in cause and have organized ourselves in order to
bridge the gap between students and to widen the scale of
opportunities to develop agriculture through agribusiness.
 We aim to develop the full potential of our student base.

3.  Cause: To ensure adequate
conditions that enable the
development of agri-preneurs by
empowering students through
practical and theoretical learning.

5.  Fostering agri-preneurship through the exposure of
technology that can be used in the agri-sector
 Acts as an additional form of communication for
the members and students within the Society
 For the purposes of the competition

6.  Duties as creator and executive of the ABS
 Personal interest in Social Media/blogging
 For the purposes of ABS in developing its student base
the blog acts as a facilitator
 By creating and sharing the information generated on
the blog, knowledge and social media linkages with
other agri-institutions has occurred
