Footnotes
DUBAWI HEIGHTS (GB) stalked outside then alongside a rival, bid three deep on the second turn, fell back a bit nearing midstretch, bid again three wide
under left handed urging past the eighth pole, gained the lead in deep stretch and inched clear. LILLY FA POOTZ pulled her way along to stalk the pace
inside, inched forward into the second turn, steadied sharply in tight off heels early on that turn, came out some in the stretch and split rivals late for the
place. MISS PLEASANT prompted the pace outside a rival then stalked alongside a foe on the backstretch, bid again between horses on the second turn,
took a short lead outside the pacesetter in midstretch and continued willingly between foes late to save third. WELL MONIED between horses early, chased
inside, split horses on the second turn, came out into the stretch and finished well four wide on the line. BURG BERG sped to the early lead, set the pace
inside, inched away on the backstretch, fought back on the second turn and in the stretch, could not match the winner late but gave ground grudgingly to the
others. TALKTOOMUCH pulled four wide early then three deep into the first turn, chased outside a rival, came three wide into the stretch, angled out in
upper stretch and finished with interest five wide on the wire. VAMO A GALUPIAR (CHI) angled in and stalked outside a rival or off the rail, came three deep
into the stretch and lacked the needed late kick. BLUE MAIDEN (GB) settled off the pace inside, fell back some on the second turn, came out into the
stretch and could not offer the necessary response. SMART STRIKING three deep into the first turn, chased outside a rival, swung out into the stretch,
drifted inward in upper stretch and did not rally.
