Footnotes
LOVE AND PRIDE sped to the early lead, angled in and set the pace inside, inched away on the second turn and drew clear under an energetic hand ride
and steady handling late. JOYFUL VICTORY stalked inside, came out and brushed with a rival leaving the second turn and held second between foes late.
INCLUDE ME OUT chased between horses then outside a rival on the second turn, angled in some in the stretch and just held third. VIA VILLAGGIO three
deep into the first turn, stalked outside a rival, brushed with the runner-up leaving the second turn, came three wide into the stretch and was narrowly edged
for the show. AMANI (CHI) saved ground off the pace, came out into the stretch and lacked the needed rally. STAR BILLING between foes early, chased
outside a rival then three deep into and on the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and weakened. SWITCH pulled her way along inside stalking the
pace, came a bit off the rail in midstretch and also weakened. LOVE THEWAY YOUARE unhurried a bit off the rail then inside, came out nearing the stretch
and was not a threat. MISS MITTAGONG four wide into the first turn, stalked three wide, dropped back leaving the second turn and gave way. A claim of
foul by the rider of VIA VILLAGGIO against the runner-up for alleged interference on the second turn was not allowed by the stewards, who ruled the
videotape failed to substantiate the claim.
