Footnotes
ALL MY CHIPS close up stalking the pace inside, slipped through along the rail into the stretch, inched away under urging in midstretch and won clear.
ELUSIVE SCHEMES angled in and pressed the pace outside a rival, was fanned three deep into the stretch, could not match the winner in the drive but
held second. MORGANOUSKA sped to the early lead, set a pressured pace inside, drifted out between horses into the stretch and weakened but just held
third. COLOURSOFTHEGLEN (IRE) in a bit tight into the first turn, chased inside, came out in midstretch and just missed the show. EL GRAN MATADOR
settled a bit off the rail then inside, cut the corner into the stretch, came out in the drive and bested the others. MAKER (ARG) three deep into the first turn,
chased outside a rival or a bit off the rail, came out into the stretch and weakened. RAINGEAR four wide into the first turn, chased outside, came a bit wide
into the stretch and had little left for the drive. EL MERITO (CHI) tugged his way along early and was in a bit tight into the first turn, drifted out and broke
down behind on that turn and was vanned off.
