SCHOOL CHOICE - Questionnaire 
Purpose 
The tool guides students on their choice of higher secondary school/labour market and 
stimulates discussion between students and families in order to facilitate the students’ 
choice. 
Target Group 
Students of the last year of lower secondary school (14 years old) 
Questionnaire 
1) In which subjects do you have better results? 
o In humanitysubjects 
o In scientificsubjects 
o In linguisticsubjects 
o In technicalsubjects 
o In artistic and expressivesubjects 
2) Which subjects do you prefer? 
o Humanitysubjects 
o Scientificsubjects 
o Linguisticsubjects 
o Technical subjects 
o Artistic and expressivesubjects 
3) How much time do you study in the afternoon? 
o 1 or 2 hours 
o The necessary to prepare myself better 
o The minimum needed 
o 3 or 4 hours 
4) I will choose to enroll in a school ... 
o … that gives me more opportunities to study and to work
o … that teaches me a job 
o … that prepares me for university 
5) Do you accept advices that help you choose secondary school? 
o Yes, but the final decision is mine 
o Yes, my parents and teachers can help me 
o No, I do what I like the most 
6) Do you let your friends influence your educational choices? 
o No, I cannot choose a school based on their interests 
o A bit, I would go where my friends go 
o Yes, but the final decision is mine 
o Yes, I want to enrol to the same school
