COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY, ongoing:
Soldiers, Family Members, DA Civilians, and Retirees Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield want to know
what you think! Both installations are conducting a Community Needs Assessment Survey to find out what you
think about different health issues in your community. This information will be given to the CG so now is your
opportunity to have your voice heard! The survey is only 35 questions long and will take 2-5 minutes to

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FORT STEWART YOUTH SPORTS:
Volunteer coaches are needed for the Youth Soccer Program and Track & Field Program. If you are interested
in becoming a volunteer coach, please visit the Youth Sports & Fitness Center (Bldg. 7338) on Austin Road in
Bryan Village and request a volunteer packet. Volunteers are required to undergo a background check. For

FS/HAAF ROMAN CATHOIC STATIONS OF THE CROSS SERVICES:
Services will be held on Friday and March 1, 8, 15, 22 at the Fort Stewart Main Post Chapel and the Hunter
Army Airfield Chapel at 6 p.m. The Veneration of the Cross Service will be held on March 29 at 3 p.m. in both
locations. The Roman Catholic Military Community is invited to share in this worship experience and share in

TRAINING RESOURCE CONFERENCE, Tuesday:
Operations Sergeants Major, Master Gunners and Schools NCO's are reminded that the next monthly Training
Resource Conference will be held Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. at MOON THEATER. The next conference will not be
until 26 MARCH 2013. We will schedule training devices, ranges and training areas up through August 2013.
STEWART TRAFFIC LANE CLOSURE, Wednesday:
There will be a traffic lane closure at the intersection of Harmon and 16th Streets Wednesday and Feb. 28 to tie
in the gas main and sanitary sewer line coming from the UAS Hanger complex. Times for the lane closure are
8:30a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily. Flagmen will be present to assist with the flow of traffic. Traffic control measures will
start being emplaced on Tuesday around 4 p.m. Please plan your travels accordingly and try to avoid the area.

YEAR OF THE CUSTOMER CEREMONY, Feb. 27 & 28:
2013 has been named Year of the Customer. Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield will hold a Customer Service
Covenant Signing 10 a.m. Feb. 27 at the Hunter Club, and 10 a.m. Feb. 28 at the Post Exchange in support of
customer service.
2. EFMP SUPPORT GROUP MEETING, Feb. 28:
Fort Stewart ACS Bldg. 86, 5:30-6:30 pm. A representative from DDESS, Special Needs Pre-K, WACH, EDIS
and Babies Can't Wait (BCW) will speak about the importance of early intervention when a child has been
diagnosed with a disability and transitioning from Early Intervention, Part C to Special Needs Pre-K, Part B.
Childcare is available at CYSS bldg. 403 (5-7pm) for a cost of $4.00/per child/hour or with use of 16 Free
Deployment hours. Child must be registered and approved for participation in CYSS programs. A minimum of
10 children must be registered in order for childcare services to be provided. Please RSVP by 4:30pm,

WLC GRADUATION, March 13:
The WLC Class 5-13 will graduate March 13 at Newman Fitness Center at 1100 hours. Doors will open up at
10:45. The guest speaker for this graduating class is CSM Jessie Andrews (1st Army’s CSM). The uniform for
attendees ACU's and for the civilians proper attire. Please send any questions or concerns that you all may have

RED CROSS FUN RUN, March 9:
Run For Red, 5K Fundraiser, March 9. Starts at 9 a.m.; check-in from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the Georgia Garrison
Training Center, Fort Stewart (near Gate 3). Registration Costs: Adults (16 & older) $20, Kids (6 - 15) $10, 5
and under FREE, Special pricing for large families. Cash or check only. Register by Feb. 27 to secure your t-
