1. I have used synergy between Ancillary1,Ancillary 2 and my final piece. Both ancillary projects use a
different method in media to advertise. Ancillary task 1 has been created on Photoshop following
the conventions of billboards taken from my existing product research. I have also used Photoshop
to construct my final piece; both my billboard and final project have the same serif, bold black
masthead. Both Ancillary 1 and my final product follow the same simplistic approach using the same
maroon, grey and black house style. Information and articles in both final media products are
represented in simpler san serif font for the smaller text to make the articles and information easier
to read. Both final products expose the same stories; there are page numbers to show the audience
where the article continues. On page two I have also added labels to state which articles start on the
front cover creating fluency throughout my final pieces. Ancillary 2, my radio advertisement
highlights the different genres of news that I have wrote about in my final piece. The radio
advertisement follows the conventions of synergy linking to my final piece as it informs the audience
of the same information found on my billboard. The audio recording mentions the name of the
newspaper, shown by the masthead in ancillary 1 and my final piece. The advertisement informs
potential buyers of the release cycle, price and availability of my newspaper. All of the same
information regarding the same aspects of my final piece is given in both Ancillary 1 and 2 however
one is audio and the other has been created via Photoshop.
